TOP 5 WATCH BRANDS

2.5.15
UNIWATCHES
DIESEL | MICHAEL KORS | SEIKO | DKNY | FESTINA
After my boyfriend told me that he wanted a watch for his birthday, I've been looking all over for watches. Then I found Uniwatches, took a peek at their women's' section and fell in love with a lot of watches. I've actually put a watch (especially the one from Diesel) on my wish list for my birthday too! My personal preference is big chunky watches, as you probably can see from the collage, and I certainly doesn't  mind wearing a men's watch as long as I think it's feminine enough for me. Also, if you are rocking an all black outfit or a slouchy tee and skinny jeans, a big statement watch can really spice it up in my opinion.

I find my watches at Uniwatches, mostly in the sales section, because I like a good deal, which is what Uniwatches gives you, 'cause there is commonly hold sales on the website. Also, If you aren't keen on spending a lot of money for a watch, you can always check out the cheap watches section.

This is a sponsored post and any opinions is not affected by this, they are truly my own and cannot be bought

FAQ | MY LILAC HAIR

23.4.15
Since I dyed my hair candy cotton pink last summer (If you followed my blog last year, you saw this) my hair has been the most commented and complimented thing about my appearance. And I actually don't mind it - It's nice being noticed. So now, after colouring my hair both candy cotton pink, bright pink, pink, blue and purple, and now lilac, it has to make me quite an expert in colouring my hair pastel.

What dye do you use?
I've ever only had 2 different dyes - excluding my first ever from Manic Panic, which I only used once, so it doesn't count. Both dyes are bought at Beeunique and is Atomic Pink by Special Effects and Lagoon Blue by Directions (Colours are showed at the end of the post), so all colours I've had in the past year comes from mixing these to colours with conditioner.

How often do you colour it?
In the beginning I dyed it like every 3 weeks, but as the colours gets darker, I've gotten lazier and probably only dye it once every 5 weeks or when I have something important coming up. On the other hand I bleach my root every 6 weeks, because my normal hair colour is sadly a tad too dark for the colours I want!

How does people react to it, and do you regret it?
I work in retail, and if you do this too, you might want to think about what kind of attention you will get from costumers. Some people have told me straight to my face that they think my hair is ugly, but others might think it's the most adorable thing they've ever seen - and it's because all people are different and therefore you will get different reactions from different costumers. Because of that; if you are a shy person or not good at handling rude comments, do like me, and start with a really light pink (mine could barely be seen in my hair at the beginning), and in that way you will grow more confident with your hair and soon you will be able to look past the unpleasant comments
Besides that, I haven't regretted my decision, because I love my hair and it makes everything better when I look in the mirror - Wouldn't change it for the world!

How do you dye it?
This is one of the most asked questions, which is why I will make a follow up post to answer this question in particular. It will either be 'How to colour it lilac' or 'How to colour it in general', I haven't decided yet. Questions like how long it takes and how I mix it will be answered in that post too, so stay tuned for that

What is your natural hair colour?
I'm not really sure anymore, as I've been dyeing my hair since the age of 14, but I'm pretty sure it's light brown almost blonde. At least that's the colour of my roots.

Does it fade?
Yes, it does. Some brands fade faster than others, and that's why I like Special Effects; Of course their dye fades, but you can't wash it out completely like you can with Manic Panic.
Also, you can prevent your hair from fading too fast if you rinse with cold water and doesn't shower that often. In the beginning I only used cold water, but now I just do as I feel - I'll probably like the colour either way or else I will just dye it a little more often.

How can you have a normal job with you current colour?
I ask myself that question every time I'm at work, but I live in a small town, and had already been working at my current job 8 months at the time, so I just took a change and dyed it. And luckily my boss approved. But don't get me wrong; There are a lot of places that I've lost my chance with due to my hair, and where they would never consider hiring a person like me.

Doesn't it damage your hair a lot?
My hair is still damaged from the first numerous times I coloured it, but the purple (or pink or blue) doesn't damage your hair. I take the tip of a spoon of the dye and then mix it with conditioner, so it looks like silver shampoo - And works like it too, actually. So no, dying it lilac doesn't damage it, but the bleaching of my roots is a whole nother deal.

MOVING OUT | PLANTERS

6.4.15
After months of looking for an apartment, I'm finally moving out. Now I have to start thinking about how to decorate my new apartment, and planters are one of the first thing that comes in mind - Even though I have never been able to keep a plant alive before - but it looks great and gives new life to the air inside, and that's important when living in a big city in a small apartment
Therefore I have found some amazing planters on Etsy, my favorite website in the whole world, to give you some inspiration to replace your old planters or simply buy some!

 GEOMETRIC SKULL - 18$ | PINK PLANTER - 14$ | VINTAGE CERAMIC PIG - 24$
At Etsy everything is either handmade or vintage, which is why there's only one of each item for sale at the time. I love the idea of getting something handmade that no one else has and not something massproduced from IKEA (Not that I don't adore IKEA, 'cause I really do)! But I will be a hundred percent sure that none of my friends own any of these planters
My favorites are the pink planter, which also comes in a lot of different color combinations, the geometric planters and the white skull. I need the white skull, actually! I know my apartment will thank me if I buy the white skull..

YOU REALLY TIK ME OFF

I've never been a big watch lover, but these watches from Uniwatches has grown on me, and the one from DKNY is now on my wishlist for the summer! A watch goes with everything, especially a black one, and will surely be in the spotlight this summer. I would style the DKNY watch with a basic white t-shirt and a pair of jeans, perfect for every occasion
Besides being perfect gift to you for just being you, it could also be a perfect graduation present for either your brother, best friend or little sister. I definetily know that I will be happy if I got one of the watches above as my graduation present next year!

Watches isn't just for checking the time, at least not for me. Checking the time is what you have your phone for. A watch has become more and more of a fashion staple, an accessorie for both men and woman, and comes in various styles and colors - Haven't we all seen the colorful unisex watches from Casio at one time or another? - And designers all jump on the watch-wagon. And why not? Watches is a huge money machine and a different thing to accessorice your wrist with, than the usual bracelet

Uniwatches has a ton of cheap watches and frequently keep a sale, so keep an eye out for your favorite brand, 'cause there can be saved a lot of money in the sales section. Also, you will have 90 days of free return and the opportunity to get your money back if the product isn't what you wanted, but if you'r watch breakes in the first to years, you can get a new one or the money you paid back.
