ETSY THURSDAY | GREEN DETAILS IN THE HOME

20.8.15
Leaf print pillow | Glass terrarium | Chopstick noodle bowls | Facetted thermo cup
My interior style is mostly black and white with no colors allowed, but since my boyfriend insist on helping me overcome my color scare by not living in an all black and white universe, I have found some interior containing the color green, but still fits my style.

I dream of a cozy couch and bed, filled with pillows and the leaf print pillow would look so good in both our black leather sofa or in a big crispy white bed, mixed with a lot of different pillows. The thermo cup can also be found in dark blue, and I think it would be absolute amazing to have two of each color, as they are so modern with the geometric shapes on the outside and bright color on the inside.
After discovering sushi, we've began to make and eat much more Asian foods, so the handpainted noodle bowls would look even greater filled with tasty food and make a great statement compared to all my white plates. The terrarium isn't green in itself, but I would love to have it styled like in the picture and bring color into the living room by adding plants. Also, it will go really well with my boyfriends terrariums containing spiders, that he insist on displaying. I like this one more though!

All the items is of course found on Etsy, my favorite place to shop. There are so many amazing interior items (for more of my favorite check out my Home collection on my Etsy) from so many talented people. I personally could decorate my entire appartment with stuff from Etsy, but unfortunately there's something called customs..

  17. You just gave me an idea for a new interior look for my room, thanks! I live in a 3-colored world, black, white and purple. Purple goes well with green if you ask me ;)

  22. That printed pillow is adorable! Since you don't usually do much colour, I think it's great that you're slowing open to the idea. I usually tell clients to pick one colour that you wear and use it in a gradated form. Green is nice --since it reminds us of nature. /Madison

  27. I'm a monochrome, various shades of black kind of girl too! But if I had to pick, I'd choose green! It's such a calm colour! Well, apart from blue. Adding little pops of colour makes everything work, yesss?
